CAUSES OF FUEL DEGRADATION.

HOW FUEL STABILIZER WORKS
There are a few situations that may allow the use of fuel stabilizers. When you’re storing the fuel in a container and when the fuel is inside the fuel tank.
1. INSIDE THE CONTAINER.
Just add the stabilizer into the container and shake the mixture. This facilitates full mixing of the two elements. Which leaves no opportunity for degradation.
2. DIRECTLY INTO THE CAR’S FUEL TANK.
If your tank is full, then you will have to drain some fuel. This gives the stabilizer some room to get in.
Once the fuel tank is almost full, add the fuel stabilizer and then start the car. This allows the fuel to mix with the stabilizer. Further, it allows the fuel to run throughout the engine parts.
The reason for this is to let the stabilizer to move through parts like fuel injector and carburetor. Afterwards the stabilizer will prevent gumming up of the expired fuel on the essential fuel system parts.

For the different areas where fuel is used, you can use different types of fuel stabilizers. But they are compatible with both diesel and gasoline engines.
Though it’s important to check the container of the type of fuel stabilizer that you will purchase. Some stabilizers are usable only with gasoline while others are usable with diesel fuel.
